About this dashboard. The MLB Automated Ball-Strike Challenge System debuted league-wide in the 2026 season. Each team gets two challenges per game (kept on success, lost after two failures). Only batters, pitchers, and catchers may challenge. The ABS strike zone is 17″ wide, 53.5% of batter height at top, 27% at bottom, measured at the middle of the plate.

Reading note. Overturn rate is a biased sample — players only challenge ~5% of pitches, and they prefer to challenge calls they think are wrong. A high overturn % means an umpire is being challenged successfully when challenged — not that they're miscalling every pitch.
